A Rancho Cucamonga young male has been arrested for apparently triggering the death of his girlfriend’s daughter, who had Down syndrome. The police have not released any information regarding the corners report.
According to the Authorities, Adam Hughes, 24, of Rancho Cucamonga, was seeing his girlfriend’s children Tuesday night when one of them disrupted him, making him upset leading to him lashing out.
He apparently assaulted the girl – 4-year-old Kylee Willis – and then put her to bed without knowing he had caused such damage.
Hours, later on, he discovered Kylee was unresponsive, with blue fingers and lips. He called his former girlfriend, Corrine Blake, she then called 911. As the authorities arrived at 10000 Block of Kernwood Court, Rancho Cucamonga they found the young girl unresponsive and blue to the touch.
Paramedics brought Kylee to a regional healthcare facility. She remained on life support for several days and after that passed away on March 29 due to her injuries.
After the initial injury, cops jailed both Hughes and the young girls’ mother, Blake, for willful ruthlessness to a child. On March 28, 2019, Blake was released after posting bail.
After Kylee died, Hughes was charged with murder. The suspect is being held without bail and has a court date set for April 2nd Tuesday. As for the mother, an investigation is still being held.
Authorities declined to release his booking photo. Police have released no further information amid the ongoing investigation.
